About Jesus Christ

” You know, we all had somewhat the same kind of existence that he had. We had an existence before we came to earth. We have an existence here on earth, and while our time has not yet come, yet when it does come we shall join him and those who have gone before, on the other side.” (J. Reuben Clark, Jr., Behold the Lamb of God, p.3).

It is a humbling task to create a site about Jesus Christ. In addition, it would be impossible to include every aspect of His life and teachings. Though it will be incomplete and limited, this site is still a valuable source of information about the Savior of our world. Many Christians are not sure if members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) are Christians. The information on this site testifies that Latter-day Saints are in fact Christians. The name of the Church states it and its practices and beliefs confirm it. Elder James Talmage wrote an informative and inspiring book, called, Jesus the Christ, which we have included on this site in its entirety.   Elder Talmage lived from 1862 to 1933, and was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (often mistakenly called the “Mormon Church”) for 22 years.  He was a scholar with a PhD and a learned theologian. Also included on this website is the full text of Prophet John Taylor’s book, Mediation and Atonement.  John Taylor was the third prophet of the Church and was with the Prophet Joseph Smith,Jr. in Carthage Jail at the time of his martyrdom.
